At A Widow's Honour, we envision every widow we encounter receiving honour, for they are precious in God's Kingdom. This effort will be through community cooperation and empowerment, and we believe we can shed light on the great need in this area. We are striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.

HOW WE HONOUR
With this initiative, our Biblical support in James 1:27 states, "Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit...widows in their affliction." Our Mission is to visit, encourage, and share the love of Christ through financial support, fellowship, gifts, provision of help in daily tasks needed in the home, and more. AT A GLANCE
A Widow's Honour is a Texas-based 501(c)3 organization that was placed on the heart of Founder, Alesia (Lisa) Thompson, birthed in February 2020. This organization began with a beautiful jewel who became a widow in 2009, Mrs. Pearl R. Thompson, her mother. Widows are often forgotten and experience emotional, physical, or financial hardship. It can be lonely, devastating, frightening, and challenging. As a Non-Profit Organization, we realize that we play a huge part in supporting, encouraging, assisting, and brightening someone's world, and this is why we ultimately decided to launch A Widow's Honour, Inc. We continue this organization's vision and mission in memory of Mother Pearl.
